You want to rent communication equipment?
You want to rent walkie-talkies, mobile phones and repeaters? JBE offers you at the most competitive rental tariffs within The Netherlands and Belgium, top quality and the most recent equipment of market leader Kenwood. On top of the walkie-talkies, mobile phones and repeaters, you can also rent all kinds of accessories such as headsets, speaker microphones or earphones. Together with every rented walkie-talkie, we provide you by default a battery charger, a battery and a strap.
In order to assure you a perfect organisation of your event or project, we provide you with the appropriate means to ensure the smooth communication between for example security, stage crew, organising crew, managers, First Aid and traffic crew. If required, JBE will assist you in preparing the communication plan for your project.
It is also possible to program the rented equipment with the frequencies which have been assigned to you. For these purposes, we ask you to provide us a copy of you broadcasting license. Once JBE has received this, we take care of the necessary administrative formalities towards Agentschap Telecom.

Flexible and fast
The rental periods and volumes are flexible and as good as unlimited. A rush delivery is possible (if required within eight hours).
Licences within the Netherlands
Within the Netherlands, the “Agentschap Telecom” (= Telecom Agency) is responsible for managing the radio frequency spectrum. This organization determines and assigns the terrestrial frequencies, it takes care of the standardization of telecommunications equipment, it establishes the rules with regards to the usage of the frequency spectrum and it controls if those rules are being respected.
Free of licence equipment
JBE has the free of licence PMR446 walkie-talkies in its portfolio, which can be used by anybody in most European countries without any licence requirement. The disadvantages of these walkie-talkies are their limited range of 500mW and their maximum of 8 channels.
Temporary broadcasting license
“Agentschap Telecom” provided a number of frequencies to JBE for the rental of radio communication equipment, which can be used free of charge by the customers of JBE. However, JBE must communicate to Agentschap Telecom who is using which frequencies. We charge € 17, 50 per rental assignment to cover the registration charges.
It is also possible to program the rented equipment with the frequencies which have been assigned to you. For these purposes, we ask you to provide us a copy of you broadcasting license. Once JBE has received this, we take care of the necessary administrative formalities towards Agentschap Telecom.
Programming and administration
JBE takes care of your requested equipment programming and of the administrative formalities which are required by Agentschap Telecom. Eventual expenses related to the broadcasting license which are charged by Agentschap Telecom will be invoiced directly to you.
